Ayurvedic Herb Gunja
Gunja's identity
Gunja or Ratti is a plant belonging to a rag tree. The rags become dry when the shimbi is cooked. Gunja is like full beans. The size of shimbi is very small, but in each row 4-5 bald seeds emerge, that is, white to white and blood red seeds emerge. Consuming impure fruit causes vomiting and diarrhea just like viruchika. Its roots are also prominent in the place of mulhati due to confusion. There are two types of Gunja.
