  Salam Panja's identity

Salam Panja, also known as Salam Tishri, is specially grown in the Western Himalayas and Tibet at an altitude of 8 to 12 thousand feet. Its arrival in India is mostly from Iran and Afghanistan. Its tuber is used and is available in the market at shops selling herbs. When its powder is soaked in water, enough sticky fraction is formed.
