What is Chilbil?
It is a very spreading tree 18-20 meters high. Its smooth bark is brown and white in colour. Chilbil leaves are 8-13 cm long and 3 to 6 meters wide. These leaves give off a pungent smell when crushed. Its flowers contain 1-1 seeds which are smooth, shiny and flat in shape.

Chilbil is a carminative, varnya, ulcerative, writhable, penetrative, kandughna, ulcer purifier, phlegm remover and columnar. It provides relief from poison, dysentery, leprosy, fever, rashes, jaundice, headache, gout, internal ulcers, gout, vaginal disorders and liver and spleen disorders. Its bark and leaves are columnar, thermogenic, anti-inflammatory, carminative, laxative, anthelmintic, anti-emetic, anti-gonorrhea, anti-leprosy and anti-rheumatism.
